Dmitry Ishkhanov was born on the 15th February 2005 in Moscow, Russia. Dmitry started to show an interest in music, in singing and in playing piano at the age of 4 with his babysitter. By the age of 8, he has completed 5 grades in Practical Piano of the ABRSM (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, UK) in Malta. At the moment Dmitry is studying in Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. His music teacher is Lolita Poghosyan and his consultant is professor Nina Tichman. Now, at the age of ten, Dmitry speaks Russian, English, German and Spanish.
Dmitry took Master Classes of famous professors like Yuri Didenko (Russia), Giuliano Mazzoccante (Italy), Nikita Fitenko (USA), Antonio Di Cristofano (Italy), Alexander Zolotarev (Germany), Vasily Shcherbakov (Russia), Katja Avdeeva (Switzerland), Arkady Zinziper (Germany), Nina Tichman (Germany), Leonel Morales (Spain) and Andreas Frölich (Germany).
Dmitry was chosen three times to open International Festival "New Names" in Yerevan, Armenia with National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia. He also participated in “Violin & Friends” festival, Valletta International Piano Festival, Malta International Music Festival, Rachmaninoff Festival, Clavicologne International Piano Festival, “Moscow meets friends” festival organized by Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation, Piano-Festival Ruhr and International Piano Festival in Italy where he performed with Orchestra Sinfonica "Duchi d'Acquaviva". In February 2015, a wonderful event took place, Dmitry performed in Cologne Philharmonie with WDR orchestra, he played Mozart concert No. 8 for piano with orchestra. Dmitry performed in concerts in France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Armenia, Russia, Czech Republic, Spain and Malta.
